ADOPTED! Very honored that a friend referred her Mom to my rescue & I just happened to have the perfect little girl to be her new beloved companion & that is my Serena! She is such a darling little dog & now she'll have her own Mom & an extended family to include both 2-4 legged members. See-See had gotten to "Go Home 4 The Holidays!" as my 4th toward my goal of adopting (10) this Holiday Season - Saturday, November 25th and couldn't be happier for her & her new Mom!

Serena is an adorable calm, a happy-go-lucky little character who loves to play with toys & the other dogs. She met a 2-year old little boy the other day & I was happy to see that she thought he was just wonderful & wanted to give him lots of kisses. That puts her in our "Bona-Fide Kid Lover" status. We only adopt dogs who have proved to have been born to love kids to a family with small children or have Grandchildren who visit often. Many rescued dogs have zero interest in kids --- I've actually seen them look at kids quizzically like "And the point of you would be?" or they have already been abused by kids in the past so we would never place them in a situation where they would have to deal with small kids.
I know it’s hard to believe but this baby found herself in a high-kill shelter in KY thru no fault of her own. As you can see she's VERY pretty, approximately 2 years old & only 16 lbs.! She can amuse herself for an extended period of time with her Nylabones. She loves her Nylabone so much that she sleeps with one & in the morning when I come out to let them out of their crates to potty, she starts gnawing on her Nylabone BEFORE going out to potty. Enclosed a photo below of her on a doggie bed with her favorite orange Nylabone. She takes it everywhere with her!
She also loves running in the grass at 30 miles an hour, it’s amazing to see those short little legs churning like they do.
She's also extremely affectionate & is always trying to give butterfly kisses. If you are offended by dog kisses – she’s not the girl for you. Serena is also very intelligent, you can see that little brain working! All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
