This beautiful 2 year old girl Julianna is a true Redbone and she is just stunning. She has moved into my living room and onto my sofa & she quietly tries to get in bed with the my husband along with the others who sleep with us. There just isn't anymore room on our King Sized bed for anymore. She is thrilled to have a doggie bed and to be allowed on the sofa.

She is a soft and gentle soul who used to have a worried sad look on her face but that is gone now. She knows she is safe and loved. She is very quiet for a hound, the only time she bays is when the puppies are all running around chasing each other, then I think she is acting like a Den Mom and telling them to slow down so no one gets hurt. She is a real pack dog, she LOVES other dogs, they make her happy, so I would only want her to go to a home where there is another dog for her to be buddies with.

She will require a 6 foot fence or a fence with www.petstop,com installed to the fence to keep her from cliimbing out which I have seen her do. I love watching hounds or any dog who has spent it's life outside - never a pet -enjoy what being a pet is all about. All the food and water you could ever want, to be with people who think and tell you how beautiful you are, to be with people that they come to trust -- my favorite thing is to watch them sleep on a big overstuffed doggy bed for the first time in their life. That gives my life meaning.

PLEASE NOTE:  Be sure to read ALL our adoption policies prior to applying for a puppy/dog to be sure you meet our minimum qualifications to keep from being disappointed.  A fence is always mandatory - no exceptions.  If you are qualified you may apply online by registering on the website. You will be e-mailed a passcode, then you will be able to access our adoption application.

The adoption donation includes: All pups & dogs have already been spayed/neutered, housebroken, crate-trained, given all shots, & microchipped -

EFFECTIVE 2-12-10 -  We have a minimum non-refundable adoption donation fee of $200.

We also require an additional $100 which is a tax-deductible donation to the rescue to help absorb our vet costs. This does not come close to our actual costs but we are trying to help as many pups/dogs go home as possible. We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit so we will provide a tax receipt for $100.00 with each adoption.

Any dog/pup adopted from us MUST have a fenced in property either Physical or Petstop Electric Fence.  Puppies under 6 month old can not be trained on a Petstop so they must have a physical fence. We do not accept any other brand due to their high failure rate. The fence must be installed or signed contract prior to us completing an adoption application. If you need an electric fence or need to upgrade contact the company Petstop @ www.petstop.com

We expect our puppies to be adopted into families that can personally raise them -- which means we will only adopt to people who have adult previous personal puppy raising experience & either work from home or part-time. We believe that puppies - like children need to be raised -- rather then left in a crate all day. If you do not meet these standards - please do not apply as you will be denied.

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers" to families with children. Many dogs do not enjoy children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
