**PLEASE NOTE:**
We have been inundated with applications for Panda. We realize he is beautiful, but we happen to think all our puppies are beautiful. If you do not meet our qualifications (READ our adoption policies on the website!), your application will be denied.

Because Panda is very young we will be taking our time to look for the BEST forever home we can find. Because of the number of inquiries we receive each and every day, we know we will be able to find an applicant who satisfies our criteria. For Panda this will include:

1) Experience with raising a puppy AND BERNIE experience ONLY. He deserves to go to people who already adore the breed. No others will be considered.
2) Must have at least one adult at home who does not work away from home full-time.
3) A suitable installed fence- 6 ft height or electric and a large enough yard that he can run and play
4) No children below the age of 6, and no more than 2 below the age of 10. Any young children MUST have had experience with puppies as their pet.
5) No dominant male dogs already in the household.
6) Must own your own home and be above the age of 25
7) Address within a 2 hour driving distance convenient for home visits.
NO EXCEPTIONS!

This little fluff ball is a Bernese MIX and arrived from our favorite shelter in West Virginia - Wetzel.
DE Puppy Rescue took his 3 siblings pictured and we took this darling pup.
We just had him neutered.

He is sweet, gentle and very, very affectionate. I think he is going to be a good size, maybe 80-90 pounds at least and very long coat so there will be LOTS of shedding.

He is smaller and younger then his foster pups and they do treat him like a "kid brother" but he keeps out there trying to keep up. He has a wonderful spirit, and we think he may turn out to be an alpha! Panda is going to be a truly handsome dog. The kind of dog that people will stop you on the street to admire him.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipping

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

Lost and Found Dog Rescue Adoption Center is a nonprofit adoption organization dedicated exclusively to placing dogs into caring, loving, and permanent homes. We rescue shelter dogs/pups from shelters that are at risk of being destroyed due to a lack of space. Our trained volunteers foster them in our homes and temperament test each one, thereby enabling us to give an accurate evaluation and assessment of each dog's personality. This approach is what makes our organization unique and successful.

The first step in adopting a dog through Lost and Found is to complete an online application. The information contained on the application is kept strictly confidential and used solely by Lost and Found Representatives to determine adoption eligibility; it will never be used by anyone outside of our organization without your consent. If the representative determines, in his/her sole discretion, that you cannot provide a suitable home for one of our dogs, you will be declined. If the representative determines that you are not the best fit for the dog you have applied for, you will be contacted regarding other dogs that more closely match your interests, life style, and family environment.

This process is strictly adhered to in order to ensure that our dogs are placed in the healthiest environment in which they can thrive and grow. Each application is reviewed on an individual basis, but the above policies are important to us.
We reserve the right to decline any adoption application based on our criteria.
