UPDATE: We feel very lucky to have played a small part in helping Parka get adopted. A family saw her at our website (which is what we hoped would happen) and decided to adopt her from our friends at Delaware Puppy Rescue. The rescued Parka and her pups.
Parka is now a Jersey girl like our Hope. As a matter of fact we took the girls together to meet their new families in NJ.
As we like to say, it was a GOOD day in rescue!

UPDATE from L&F volunteer: I met Parka today at the Mingle with the Mutts and as always, her picture does not do her justice. She is very sweet & pretty and playful with a love of people. Even though she has been abused, she still craves human contact. She has the cutest little bark (she wasn't real barky, she was just saying hi to all the other dogs) that makes her sound like Minny Mouse. So cute! She is very small and delicate and will make a wonderful addition to any family that wants to love her for the rest of her life.
Our lovely and loving Parka was rescued from an abusive home where she was close to starvation and pregnant. She gave birth to eight puppies; six of which survived. She is now ready to find her loving family which she so deserves. She is in search of the person or family that will take the time to show her the good things in life versus what she has had in the past.
Up to date on shots
Needs to be spayed.
She is learning her manners and learning to curb her enthusiasm when people show her attention (loves to give kisses).
