~~ Adopted!! ~~ So very happy for my "big little man" Hooper, formerly Sterling. I was able to take him home today to start his new life in Maryland where he has a Mommy, Daddy & 4-legged big sister. Sterling is about a 10-month old German Shepherd mix, he's already 70 lbs. so I expect that he will be at least 80-85 lbs. full grown. He was abused when he was in KY but now he’s a confident happy-go-lucky goofy sweet affectionate BIG puppy! He loves people & other dogs & loves to be able to sit next to you on the sofa & give kisses & snuggle. While he's extremely gentle & just wiggles his butt like crazy when meeting new people, he has a very deep baritone bark that would scare any intruders away from your home -- for sure! He's has had professional dog basic dog training & he excels b/c he wants to please you & he'll do anything for a treat! Both his sister Annika must have had a ballerina in their gene pool. They both dance around in the cutest way when they are excited & happy to see you!

All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed. Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
